When air enters the hydraulic cylinder and mixes with the oil, it can cause instability in the equipment's piston, resulting in swinging or crawling movements.
2. To resolve this problem, it is essential to release the air from the hydraulic cylinder using appropriate venting equipment. Typically, the venting equipment is placed at the upper end of the hydraulic circuit in hydraulic presses. However, in casting machinery, it needs to be installed vertically.
3. The presence of air in the cylinder can lead to abnormal machine operation or cause the sealing components to overheat due to the insulation equipment's high-temperature stroke. For safety purposes, the exhaust device of the hydraulic cylinder in casting machinery is generally located inside the cylinder barrel below the piston.
4. After installing the exhaust equipment, adjustments are required to achieve the desired exhaust effect. The following steps outline the adjustment process for the hydraulic cylinder's exhaust equipment in a hydraulic press:

Lower the operating pressure to an appropriate range and start the hydraulic cylinder.
During the reciprocating stroke of the piston, observe if the machine exhibits severe vibrations or crawling movements.
When the piston reaches its rotating position, cover the air outlet with gauze and open the exhaust valve to complete the air discharge process.
